Ähnlich wie bei Aktivitäten der Metropole Pieschen gestaltete sich die Zusammenarbeit mit dem Schultheater Dresden im Fokus auf Brachflächen und Leerstellen im Stadtgebiet. Unter dem Namen Neuland wurden Brachen ausfindig gemacht und einer Nutzung für alle zugeführt. Ein Zaun wurde in einem künstlerischen Projekt mit Schulkindern gestaltet, eine kleine Tanzfläche angelegt, Stromversorgung gesichert – und los konnte es gehen: Theater spielen, Tango tanzen, „Open-Office“-Freiluftbüros, Filmnächte und ein kleines Open-Air-Festival.
In collaboration with the “School Theater Dresden” similar activities like the ones of the “Metropolis” has been focussed on brownfield sites and abandoned spaces in the city of Dresden. Under the name “Neuland” wastelands got prepared for an use for everybody. A fence was designed in an artistic project with school children, a small dance floor designed and electricity provided – ready to go for: theater productions, tango dancing events, "Open Office" open-air-offices, movie nights, and a small open-air festival.
